2. User Eligibility

By using our platform, you confirm that:

3. Booking, Payment & Invoicing

• Bookings are confirmed only after an initial consultation or inspection.

• Full or part payment must be made in advance as per the project terms.

• All invoices will include GST and are generated in compliance with Indian taxation laws.

4. Cancellations & Refund Policy

• Cancellation within 24 hours of booking is eligible for a full refund.

• Refunds are not applicable once work has commenced or in case of custom orders.

• Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days via the original payment method.

5. Warranty & Service Policy

• Termite treatment and select furniture come with limited-time warranties, subject to proper use.

• Warranty claims must be made within the stipulated period and are subject to verification.

• We are not responsible for any damage arising from client misuse, structural issues, or force majeure.

6. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

We operate in full compliance with:

• The Consumer Protection Act, 2019

• The Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017

• The Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (for chemical treatments)

• Applicable labour laws and safety standards

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including logos, visuals, designs, and written material on our website, is the intellectual property of PaintWoods. Any reproduction or commercial use without permission is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act, 1957.

8. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Delays caused by third-party suppliers or force majeure

• Issues arising due to structural defects or incorrect information provided by clients

9. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

• All disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.

• Failing which, the matter shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance of services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural calamities (floods, earthquakes, etc.)

• Strikes, labor shortages, or pandemics

• Fire, war, or civil unrest

In such cases, services will be rescheduled or paused until conditions improve.
